Curriculum Design

I have been designing courses and lessons since 1995. I have experience in every phase of curriculum design from creating course objectives tied to standards to mapping those objectives to lessons.

Online Course Creation

Whether your learning management platform is Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, Cornerstone, Talent or some other LMS, the chances are very good that I have developed a course for it. I have converted courses from one platform to another using the most efficient and cost-savings measures.

Course Management and Training

Once your online course is up and running it needs to be managed.  I can provide course management and/or training for your staff. Need to implement LTIs or ensure SCORM compliance? I have experience doing this as well.

Course creation and design.

I have over 20 years of experience as a curriculum developer and instructional designer. I have degrees in both secondary education and instructional technology so I understand not only what makes effective elearning, but what also makes sound educational practice.
Many of my projects needed to be either 508 or WACG 2.0 compliant and I am able to provide a checklist to certify compliancy or work with your team to develop a VPAT report.
I have created entire courses in Articulate storyline from an outline of talking points, powerpoint decks and other formats. I have created courses for Lessonly, Museum Courses, University of Illinois, Arizona State University, Nike, Spectrum International, Presterafx, Dialight, Strayer University, BuildED, GetWorkerFit, and Montgomery County Public Schools among others.

Learning Management Systems.

I have worked with, designed, built and managed a number of Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Instructure Canvas, Cornerstone, TalentLMS and Moodle. I can design and storyboard in Expression Design/Blend and Sketchflow. Additionally, I have experience implementing and modifying a number of Learning Tool Interface products (TurnitIn, textbook publishers, Testout, Yellowdig, Toolwire, et. Al.) and page modifications using CSS and HTML5.
I have my own license for Articulate 360.
